Your intuition is your early warning system or alarm. Intuition sidesteps thought and leaps like an athlete from the problem to the answer.
Feel into what the word intuition means. Intuition is a curious word. It means you tune into something and you turn on your receiver. Then you receive your messages. Just like when you choose to save or delete normal email you have the free will to choose to act upon your intuitive email or not.
Your intuition warns you. You may meet someone for the first time and you intuitively sense through touch and sight not to trust this person. You may have an intense feeling in your heart and gut that you know something is wrong. At that very moment you are guided to listen and to trust your feeling that something is off with that person.

Intuition is a gift and it is one we all have. Your intuition is guided by love and is always there as a faithful servant to help you. Intuition is your inner guidance, a kind of knowing, and an internal compass. Trust your intuition when you are calm and you have the time to think things over.
You may feel fear at the same time as intuition. Let go of all thoughts and feelings and silence your mind. A quiet mind will hear intuition over fear. Your perspective will shift and you will ground yourself before taking action in a volatile situation.

Becoming More Intuitive
It can be very tricky to hear the quiet gentle voice of your intuition through the noise of your busy life. So slow down and listen to your intuition in a quiet place. Go for a walk in the park and meditate in nature. Going for a walk can turn up the volume of your channel of intuition.

Scientific research has shown that emotion and intuition are physically present in your gut. The gut is lined with a network of neurons and it is your second brain.
This is why you feel ‘sick’ about having to make a tough decision or knowing that you made a bad one. Have faith in your intuition and listen to your gut feeling.
Your intuition can be felt as a feeling in your chest or your stomach. You may feel a peaceful feeling in your chest or stomach or tightness in those areas with a feeling that something is off.

Pay attention to your dreams as they may be telling you things you need to know. When you dream, your brain processes the information you have accumulated earlier that day. Dreams contain valuable information and memories.
Listen to your dreams to unlock information hidden to you when you are awake. Before sleep direct your thoughts to any unresolved issues. Contemplate about possible options or solutions as you’re falling asleep. Then close your eyes and let your mind do the rest.
Mindfulness and Physical Activities
Mindfulness is focussing on being present in the moment. You tune into the moment and by filtering out the distractions and noise of your environment and also in your head. You will then hear your intuition loud and clear.
You can also train your intuition by focussing on a physical activity that helps you to connect with your intuition and your higher self. Play around with different activities until you find a few you like. You may be drawn to crystals, channelling spirit, tarot or numerology. They all work to improve your intuitive senses.
