Welcome to the year 2020 dear soul. This will be a wonderful year and a year of change and evolution. This year is a great opportunity to shine in your divine light and show others your true gifts. Flow through 2020.
Your 2020 vision will likely include some promises you made to yourself to clean up your act or improve your life. In 2019 you made promises or resolutions for the year and soon after entering the year you let go of these promises and re-enter old patterns. So what can you do this time around to keep the promises you made for 2020?
Choose Wisely
Focus on resolutions that will have a big impact on your happiness, health, and fulfilment in life. For example, giving up drinking alcohol will improve your health and give you more self-confidence. You may also feel more empowered that you can let go of other addictions.
Keep it Simple
Looking to change your entire lifestyle is a recipe for disaster. Self-improvement takes time. So focus on one or two of your most important goals. These may be to meditate for 30 minutes each day or go to yoga class twice a week.
Don’t Aim Too High
Look at your previous experience with your resolutions. Explore how they led to failure. Play your stories like movies and sense what went wrong. This helps you have a feel for what you can take on. Then set clear short-term goals on your way to a big achievement.
Break Down Goals
Avoid a breakdown by breaking down your goals. Plan now and you will thank the time and effort you put in when things go more smoothly than ever. Your willpower will be on fire and you will pick yourself up when you fall down. Set clear realistic desires like saving £100 a month, losing 7 pounds, or going to the gym once a week. These should empower you to put your promises into action.
Anchoring in Reality
Anchor your intention, promise, or resolution into physical reality. Write notes, create a scrapbook, and keep evidence like bank statements or photos of loved ones. These will spur you on towards your goal. You can also pray or speak to your guides and angels to help you along the way through physical signs.
Be a Master of Time
Time is precious and how you use it even more so. Use a calendar or diary to plan your actions over the year, from day to week, and week to week. Decide when to review and reflect on them. Begin by planning the flow of your day for 15 minutes on each and every day. Focus on what needs to be done. Give yourself blocks of time to do it in on your calendar or diary. When you focus your attention on the task at hand you also will tend to do more of it in less time. Be patient and flexible with your time and allow for emergencies and refinement of your plans.
You Are Not Alone
A support network around you is very important. They will guide you back in your saddle if you have fallen off. Choose people around you who you know are trustworthy and supportive. Then share your plans with them. Let them know of ways they can help you when the going gets tough. If they’re truly caring they will know the right things to say.
Keep it up
A slip-up does not mean you give up. When you slip-up, draw on your reserves of self-belief and strength. Use every opportunity to build up these qualities as often as you can. Be proud of your past achievements and feel into them as if they are happening now. They will elevate your confidence and self-esteem to succeed. Then forgive yourself and declare “I’m starting again now!”
You are the Captain
Dear soul, you navigate the ship of your life. You have total free will if your precious human life. Change your actions to have the results you want to achieve. You do this by being brave and taking control of the wheel of your life. You know you are in charge of your own destiny when you have a strong sense of control over your life. You will also feel on top of the world when you experience love and joy in activities that improve your life, the lives of others, your environment, and the world.
Reward Yourself
Reward yourself after you have made progress with your goals for the day. Have a nice bath, an hour playing your favourite game, or a sugary treat. Remember to be flexible and offer treats only when you have achieved something. Give yourself bigger treats when you reach important milestones. Reflect on your experience and welcome the doors that open up for you when you see yourself closer to your goals.
Beautiful soul, source energy wishes you a wonderful new year. May all your wishes come true in 2020!
